Resolver uses the training platform, or embedding provider, to turn your content into vectors that are stored in the WordPress database. These vectors are used to quickly find the most relevant content on your site when a visitor asks your chatbot a question.
If you change embedding providers, this means that all of your stored vectors become incompatible with the vectors returned for new visitor messages. In other words, it disables the chatbot from finding any relevant content on your site.
This is why it is critical that you retrain all of your pages when switching embedding providers. To assist you, Resolver now retrains all of your pages, PDFs, and notes automatically when you switch embedding providers.
